Microbial contamination resulting from multiple water intrusions caused microbial activity throughout the HVAC system and other areas of the library. Auburn Environmental (AE) conducted a remediation of the HVAC system and performed decontamination of reference books within the contaminated areas.

Several water intrusions resulted in microbial activity in the 2500sf basement. The scope called for removal of drywall and other structural materials, including HEPA cleaning of the basement, HVAC Systems, and the 4500sf living area.

PROJECT:  CONFINED SPACE ENTRY RESCUE TRAINING AT HAZARDOUS WASTE TREATMENT
                     STORAGE & DISPOSAL FACILITY (TSDF)
LOCATION:  SOUTHERN OHIO

Developed and conducted a confined space entry rescue training class for employees involved with confined space entry at TSDF.

Reviewed requirements of 29 CFR 1910.146.

Conducted hands-on mock scenario involving vertical and horizontal rescue extraction of entrants.

Conducted confined space air monitoring class for airborne evaluation of oxygen, LEL's, and toxins.
