Water leaking through exterior building panels resulted in microbial contamination on building materials, law files, and other important documents. Auburn Environmental (AE) coordinated the decontamination and restoration project.

PROJECT:  CONDOMINIUM UNITS $250,000
LOCATION:  NORTHEASTERN OHIO

Ruptured water supply line flooded four units. Auburn Environmental (AE) was called in to coordinate the dry down of the structure and perform a mold abatement of four 1,500 sq ft units. Scope included removal of all structural drywall & flooring, HEPA cleaning of the HVAC system, structure and all contents.

PROJECT:  STORAGE FACILITY $50,000

A metal roofing system resulted in water intrusion causing microbial activity throughout. Scope for abatement included the removal of drywall, all ceiling materials, and insulation. Also included the HEPA cleaning of all structural surfaces.

PROJECT:  SUMMER COTTAGE (1OOOSF) $68,000
LOCATION:  NORTHEASTERN OHIO

A broken washer line caused water intrusion over 80% of the cottage. Scope included removal of all flooring and textiles, base kitchen cabinets, removal of the first 4' of drywall throughout the affected area.

PROJECT:  INDOOR FIREARMS RANGE REMEDIATION
LOCATION:  NORTHEASTERN OHIO

Developed and implemented a work plan to control airborne inorganic lead exposure during the remediation of lead contaminated sand from an indoor firearms range. Project also involved collection of air samples to determine compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) permissible exposure level (PEL).

Negative pressure containment and wet methods utilized in conjunction with HEPA filtered vacuum truck.

PROJECT:  AHERA CLEARANCE SAMPLING AND PROJECT OVERSITE FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM
LOCATION:  NORTHEASTERN OHIO

Conducted AHERA clearance sampling subsequent to asbestos abatement projects. Also provided air monitoring and post abatement inspections throughout the project duration.

Conducted three year re-inspection and sampled suspect asbestos containing materials. Prepared detailed asbestos abatement guidelines.

PROJECT:  INDOOR AIR QUALITY INVESTIGATION
LOCATION:  NORTHEASTERN OHIO

Conducted indoor air quality survey to evaluate employee exposures to indoor air contaminants.

Airborne levels of carbon monoxide, particulate, VOC's, formaldehyde and biological contaminants were evaluated by utilizing real time and integrated sampling equipment.

Airborne carbon dioxide levels were evaluated to determine efficiency of the HVAC system.

Conducted noise survey in order to characterize employee exposures at a water treatment facility.

PROJECT:  INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE SURVEY/SAFETY AUDIT AT HAZARDOUS WASTE WATER TREATMENT UNIT

Conducted large-scale industrial hygiene survey to evaluate employee exposures to various contaminants. Also performed safety audit to assess various plant operations.

Evaluated airborne levels of cyanides, amines, acids, metals, organics, and other contaminants.
