PROJECT:  COAL TAR REFINERY TANK CLOSURE
LOCATION:  CENTRAL OHIO

Developed and implemented work plan for decommissioning of 300,000 gallon storage tanks. The project involved utilization of heavy equipment to remove coal tar pitch product from tanks.

Collected benzene personal air samples to characterize employee exposures and ensure OSHA compliance.

Developed final closure report.

Managed disposal of various wastes.

PROJECT:  CYANIDE PLATING LINE REMEDIATION
LOCATION:  CENTRAL OHIO

Developed and implemented work plan for closure of cyanide plating line. The project involved remediation of vats of various acid and cyanide playing line solutions.

Developed HASP and conducted project oversight.

Conducted post remediation clearance sampling for airborne acids and cyanides.
